I had just been congratulating myself on my bloom and evident good health since the return of a stress-free existence, when I succumbed to one of the many Sydney Winter Plagues that are being shared among my fellow citizens.

Suffice to say that if there was a way to weaponise snot, I would not only have the ADF covered, I could probably help out NATO.

The new normal, which involves actual communication, will return in a day or two when I climb out from under a mound of tissues and self pity.

On a topical sidenote, The Cursed Child is marvellous and I KNEW DRACO AND SCORPIUS WOULD BE LIKE THAT!!! (I mean, so did all my favourite writers, because der, but it was lovely.)

And now, to bed before 10.30. What am I, eight*?

*Yes, I was raised by delightfully irresponsible people.

Oh man, what a bummer! I hope you feel better soon.

I'm glad you enjoyed Cursed Child! I can't say I enjoyed it per se - I feel like I was transported to delirious heights with Draco and Scorpius only to be thrown down to the depths of Erebus with the actual plot.

But Potteresque-ire wrote something really beautiful about the play on Tumblr that went a long way towards reconciling me to it. If you're not on Tumblr, I could cut and paste it for you perhaps (have to ask permission obvs)

The hilarious thing is that pottereque_ire posted a comment to brammers right after mine - just click on her lj name and it'll take you to her page where the post is!

Or you could go here:

Oh no!!! *wears full armor and hands you a tissue* Hope you feel better soon!
(weaponized snot: can you teach us how to produce it? I think a certain presidential candidate deserves a bucketful of it)

Draco and Scorpius are perfect in TCC, and Albus making friends with Scorpius in the train was just marvellous.

I went with all my Ronlovers and we came out as Draco and Scorpius lovers!

So glad JKR and the play writer went for the redeemed Draco!  It was fun to read and the story engaging. It had lots of things that rang true like Luciuspaying for and collecting a time Turner.  Lol. Hi you!

commenting here, only because it is the last thing you have posted.

I rather suspect you have already seen this article on what is fanfic, but it is likely to appeal to some of your LJ friends, so I am calling your attention to it again (or the first time if you haven't).
