Huge Thanks

I'm in Colorado visiting my parents, my ailing and failing father to be specific. It's hard as hell and so in desperate need of escapism and optimism, I've reread the Fathers series. It's just perfect, perfect, perfect. Forgive how mushy I'm feeling (and sounding) at the moment, but really, it helps so very much to turn to such a wonderful story.

I love each and every one of these characters from Lester Biggs to Narcissa Malfoy, from Harry to Al to Draco to Scoop - I love who they've become and where life has taken them. They're endlessly entertaining.

And these stories are such an easy read. By that I mean that you are such master of craft, I disappear easily into the story, never tripping on character or plot bumps. Your recent post about barriers... I read, visualized, accepted them and moved on. It didn't matter if they were "real" or not because I was so caught up in the story.

And as long as I'm on it... about the job: I think the decision is really about what the next job is, right? What job do you get after the one you're doing now vs. what job are you offered if you take this new one?

Ok, as you can tell, I'm swinging a little wild tonight, so I'll stop talking except to say, again, thank you for these stories. I do hope I get to see the end, but if work precludes it, well, these are worth no less.
