... I was simply relieved when the number of votes for my story finally exceeded the number of beta-readers who'd kindly midwifed the damned thing. It has now I think five times the votes as the number of editors for it, which I find pleasantly surprising, as I well know no-one reads my work (save a select few, dear, save a select few: you're in brilliant, if limited, company).
