While you are chasing down DVDs at the ABC shop, I heartily, thoroughly and emphatically recommend a two part mini-series called "Marking Time", about an Anglo-Aussie boy in a country town who falls in love with a Hazari Afghan girl from the nearby refugee camp. It's one of the best things ever made in, or about, this country, to my mind.
