ooh!

[livejournal.com profile] lotus_lizzy  is a bad influence and I am vaguer than a koala.

Vaguer than a sleep-deprived koala with twins!

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] wemyss  and [livejournal.com profile] noeon , three of my fics were nominated for Dracoawards! Thanks, dears! You're lovely!

In the immortal words of Sally Fields ... oh who am I kidding, we're the same height and that's it. In the immortal words of most other actresses, 'It's an honour just to be nominated in the company of such outstanding artists.' And it actually is -- go look at who's there!

Little Red Courgette was nominated for best humour. But fear not! If Europolitics and appalling vegetable puns are not your cup of tea, there are other fabulous fics you can vote for, as I did (GO Crup'tion!). At which point I was filled with guilt for failing to nominate several others, due to the aforementioned koala brain.

For the Public Good and An Act of Simple Devotion were both nominated for Draco/Harry best long fiction, but for people who prefer sanity and sex with their plots, there are fab stories I have loved in that category from [livejournal.com profile] frayach , [livejournal.com profile] femmequixotic , [livejournal.com profile] noeon , [livejournal.com profile] cest_what , [livejournal.com profile] treacle_tartlet  and others, too, that I have to read because I have been meaning to for ages and what if I vote for the wrong ones? Argh!

I cannot find anything to tell me when polls close. I am hoping it is in a few days as I want to finish a couple of fics that are all in the one poll! But hie ye hence if you're looking for some conveniently organised fine fics involving Malfoys.

Maybe my headache will be worse in the morning and I can legitimately take the day off to read fanfic!
