HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIC!!!

In other news I am:
* Woefully behind on everything due to work being enormous and me having but ONE symptom remaining from the infamous gallbladder and that symptom being fatigue.
* HOPELESS at being fatigued -- my neck needs a massage from too much sofa napping and yet I still never get to bed at a reasonable hour.
* Almost wholly extremely healthy, which I can say with some authority having had most bits scanned, tested and prodded over the last month. Except ...
* My right foot is mankier than usual and so I am also ...
* Really certain that that MRI on House is a fake, because those bastards are insanely loud! Also, those paper gowns are see-through and that was a long hall down to the MRI with a nice little old man sitting at the end of it. And my skin is very white and showed up very well through that navy paper. Thank goodness for very large magazines that can fulfill the modesty role of a bra.
* Waiting to hear on how Linwood College has gone this week. Vicki is one of the main information points for disaster relief in her area and was also out being a Skeptic when the loony lunar earthquake theory set came out, so she has been a bit busy. Will ring if I have not heard by Sunday.
* Devastated about Japan, will write more on this on Sunday, I hope, but in the meantime, if you are looking for fandom-related donations, check out [livejournal.com profile] japan_calls , a really clever idea where they have asked celebrities to donate 15 seconds of voice talent to leave a message for you (presumably to use on your phone) should you win the bid. Some great names, including Kristen Bell, Kristin Bauer (is that Pam? she's terrific!), Eliza Dushku, Mark Ruffalo and Sia.
* Off to Canberra now for an exhibition of Ballets Russe costumes! Must pack!
