I tried to keep up, I really did and I betcha I missed some brilliant jewel of a story because I just couldn't. I started doing ennie minnie minny moe as a way of choosing what to read, or looking at Wordcount and tackling the biggest contender so I'd feel less guilty thinking other people would choose the one with the least amount of words-- and I almost didn't comment directly on any fic so most likely people will never see my comments (which I'm a bit of glad for because you never know if you'll offend anybody). I really wish I could have read everything and voted on everything because people WROTE this stuff and put up a great deal of effort but I think I'll still be reading W_C fics come next year.
