Argle bargle ... and a note for Marginal Notes

Apparently I am still running around like a headless chicken. And also looked appalling the last time I saw most of the people I have seen this Easter, as everyone has enthused about how well I look, probably compared to last Easter in most cases. Not seeing the daylight for a couple of months apparently does WONDERS for the complexion if one also has loads of Vitamin D in one's diet.

Though I had a hoodie on last night, and pulled up, and in the dark between campfires, a nice lady asked me if I was looking for my mummy. I muttered something suitably sulky teenagerish about being fine and scurried away before the giggles erupted.

Anyway, I've checked in tonight to find a lot of people have been reading Marginal Notes on ffnet, which reminded me that one of my distractions from going completely doolally last month was to write up one of Astoria Greengrass's bingo sheets. It's not quite as funny as it would normally be because I was too busy losing my mind fixing bloody knitting patterns. Which also explains the grammar and the formatting.

Had loads more to say that made more sense, but must go and sleep so I can wake up in time to clean for our house guests who arrive at lunch. At least I like them!

Cool! I'm just reading this myself, so will paste the bingo chart into the end. Maybe will have stopped laughing at the entries by then?

You know I had almost forgotten how much I adore Marginal Notes and the characters in it. It's one of the universes I could happily live in, every character in it a little vignette of perfection, all the perfect wit and humour. So thank you for the bingo card, which made me laugh, and the reminder which meant I got to re-read it and cheer my morning up before work. (Yes, I'm still coming back to check regularly for the update to Fathers, I told you I was an optimist, *g*)

But why are there so many columns in this bingo card?!

Wonderful! Just a great pair of Greengrasses all round. And it's reminded me of how much I enjoyed Marginal Notes - time for a re-read :)
