Thanks, that's great. Two of the above seem to be problems with the fact that my brain has been eaten by 16th and 19th century English. One of those I meant that way, but if it's stopping you I may need to reconsider punctuation, or italics,

"I can't tell what other people already know other people are thinking half the time.

If I italicise "know", do you think this will convey that Scorpius thinks he's rubbish at reading the people around him?

While I work hard to sound as though I belong in this century, every now and then I find myself writing connexion and Overusing Capitals. Given that he was also a lawyer and a hippie, I simply tell people I was raised by wolves.
