Well I will be back down in the next few months for the Art Deco exhibition, but I hope to have bought one by then.
That is a good price! How quickly does it take shots? The biggest problem with my old one was the long shutter lag. Video capture? Everything else is negotiable if it will take perfect museum shots of textiles even with me using it; I suck at photography.
The cybershot is a nice camera for everything but the textiles, not enough visual information to give really good renderings of textures, and you know how obsessed I am.
