Amusing, and sad

Was reading Ring for Jeeves the other day and burst out laughing. Colonel Aubrey Wyvern's third-rate domestic staff are named Trelawny and Bulstrode.

Also, Happy Birthday raitala! And happy birthday for tomorrow, draykonis.

In sad news, Min cat is now out of chances and is living out her last weeks with all the salmon she can fit in.  The lovely vet assistant from the uber vet dropped round her pain meds this evening. She doesn't need them tonight, but it's good to have them. Poor brave kitty.

Oh... I'm so sorry that it's come down to this. I hope Min is still bounding around and eating well, and I know you're making her last few weeks as wonderful as they can be. *hugs you tight*

She is boundy as a boundy thing, and quite cheered at both the fact she is no longer told off for squashing plants, and that every meal is now salmon. She seems to be wondering why we didn't have these rules before, since this is clearly the Right and Proper Way.
