I'm going to be honest with you - I LOVE your way of writing, the characterisation of each person, but I just couldn't finish reading this fic because of the subject. Kidnapping is such a horrible thing, I don't even want to read about it; maybe it's a childhood trauma of mine, I knew a girl and her brother who were both kidnapped by their father after the parents divorced. It was such ghastly story and the girl ended up taking drugs and died at 17.

That's clearly not related to your fic, but I suppose that's the reason why I just stopped reading. (Well I did go to the end to reassure myself that there was a happy end and I found the sign language very clever, too. But yes...)

I hope you don't hate me now; I'm aware that what I wrote might seem rude, but I wanted to let you know at least that I acknowledged your fic and that I think it's very cleverly written.
