Holding pattern ...

Am sitting in Adelaide David Jones food hall drugged out of my mind but with a stable wireless connection which my hotel would not allow. Ask me about my headache! I will say URRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH, at you, and also that Urgh is probably the first word I have not had to fix a typo in so far. Including typo.

The plane had issues, I am underslept even for me, and I have two Britpicks that I wanted to send back tonight. Girls, I will send them tomorrow. Please send your mods here where I take full responsibility. Tonight I would probably insist that you add in a gotten or indeed a golem somewhere, I am so out of my skull.

On asprin.

Fucking lightweight.

I owe many comments, which will also happen tomorrow. Staggering back upstairs now. At least I have chocolate, so if I throw up later it will taste good! (ish)

Poor Brammers. My partner would say this is karma for his cocaine cube incident the other day.

Hope you feel better soon.

Sweetheart, you don't have to send it at all! Good Lord, take care of yourself first. I'm dead serious. The fic's since had a full copy-edit beta. Getting it Britpicked is one of my stupid hang-ups. It can go without this once.

I think I need to win the lottery so I can send you and Cal to one of those fancy healing spas for a month.

Rest and get better.

*tucks you into a nice, warm blanket and gives you hot chocolate* Feel better soon, my dear. :)

That sucks. I hope you feel better soon.

Awwww... poor Brammers. Sending you healing thoughts and lots of paracetamol (see, even I know that only we Colonists call it "acetaminophen").

PS don't use aspirin in pain-relieving quantities; it thins the blood and can cause spontaneous hemorrhages. I tell patients all the time that it's no longer considered safe to take more than about 650mg of aspirin per day.

My poor Brammers. *pets very gently*

I've been there before, many times, and I hope the aspirin kicks in soon, or else there will be many people without the skill of sewing. And who, I ask you, will bring back fashion after the apocalypse if no one can sew?

[identity profile] violetage.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Awwww. Poor thing, *massages temples very very gently, turns lights down and lowers voice to a murmur* feel better soon,

[identity profile] aldehyde.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
awwh *hugs and gives you cup of yummy hot chocolate with marshmallows*

*warms up her Reiki hands *

I'll send you some healing energy, my dear, and hopefully the headache will clear.

But yes, you are a lightweight. Yesterday I took codeine and ibuprofin and muscle relaxants for my headache. Honestly, BB, such an amateur!

I hope you feel better soon! *sends you the fluffiest hug in the universe and then some more*

[identity profile] raitala.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooo, nasty! I hope you feel better tomorrow. I've already let Sansa know, but if you want to chuck me the other brit pick, I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

[identity profile] thebrandytook.livejournal.com 2008-08-22 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)
*pets* Feel better. Get some rest and relaxation. Don't overwork yourself.

I'm spamming you. Read this. It's short. And I think it's better if you read the footnotes afterwards because otherwise it will give it away.
