But I believe that the age of the writer doesn't necessarily determine the maturity of the writing. Zadie Smith wrote White Teeth in her early 20's. reposoir wrote Things That Change (a mature and thoughtful novel-length fic about Harry, Draco, and their children) at around the same age. Rimbaud stopped writing in his early 20s. Keats died at 25.
