This was just annoying! How hard is it to paint a few grip strips on? Grrr! As for scars, eh, I have so many that I plan to spend my dotage telling children I was a mercenary for hire in North Africa.

But I will be complaining! And the shopkeepers are both young and easily intimidated by fortysomething Englishness, so I'll have loads of fun doing it! Glad I made you smile, you did the same for me ;-)
