Yes, I did figure Fathers would end happily ... I'm halfway through The Thread Measurer's Apprentice now, and I'm not so sure about that one! I'm a huge wuss when it comes to character death. But you didn't have any warnings in the header, so maybe my thin skin is safe. *wibbles*
