Dear self,
The free internet in Singapore is only free if you remember to get a password for information before going into your gate. However S$6 seems like a small price to pay, and the boarding looks as though it may take some time ...

In other news, Qantas took my aisle seat, but gave me nice neighbours at least. And the small girl behind me stopped kicking my seat as soon as I asked her if she would mind be careful with her feet. I thanked her on the way out and she beamed, quite worth the effort!

Please, self, sleep on this leg. You will be grateful to yourself afterwards ...

Ahh, sleeping on airplanes, something I've never quite managed. I remember flying back from Bangkok, over 36 hours actual time counting flights, and connections. I don't think I managed more than an hour of sleep the entire time.
