Brief sidebar

There is, in fact, no less pleasant way to be woken from a satisfying nap than by the Extra Bass Dance Remix of Kylie Minogue's 'Spinning Around' being played on tinny speakers by your computer-game-playing partner in the next room.

I have an appointment at 9am tomorrow and he will be sleeping in. Trying to decide between Zadok the Priest and Beethoven's Fifth for getting dressed music -- on the good stereo, of course.

You show him, Brammers!! *g*

ETA, how about this song? It's guaranteed to drive him nuts. Then again, it might drive you nuts as well. ;)

Huh, see, now if this were my room mate I'd go with like, Nirvana or Stabbing Westward.

However, with your choices, I say go for the 5th. Nice, long, and IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP THROUGH. =P

If you have a really good stereo - the 1812 overture is just peachy - cannon balls through his tummy :) Many moons ago, I would stay with my cousin during summer holidays and we often slept in the living room so we could watch TV late - Uncle Ray was a stereo buff and took great delight in selecting music to wake us with every morning - I can still feel the rumbling of the floor boards and the cannons.....

Mm. My friend once had people who lived below her who played obnoxious music at stupid hours of the night. Then she turned up the bass, pointed the speakers at the floor, and played the Imperial March for four hours. It wasn't a problem after that.

Och, hen.

Ha' ye nae pipe music, chust?

[identity profile] bryoneybrynn.livejournal.com 2010-01-15 04:50 pm (UTC)(link)
lol!

I have many fantasies of this. I'd say 60% of mornings, my hubby (and my son too) is still asleep when I leave for work and 100% of nights, he's still playing video games when I go to bed. It seems incredibly unfair somehow.... *g*

Nah, I'd go with Don't Feel Like Dancing by the Scissor Sisters; with any luck, J would still be humming it and cursing your name when you get home :D

[identity profile] uminohikari.livejournal.com 2010-01-16 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
But is the Fifth really annoying?

[identity profile] i-autumnheart.livejournal.com 2010-01-16 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
So, did you go though with it?

[identity profile] grey-hunter.livejournal.com 2010-01-16 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
Ride of the Valkyries?

*snickers* Someone should have got a pair of headphones for Christmas. :D
