It was less the skinny than the really really ugly clothes. "Awkward" sounds fine until it comes in a package reminiscent of the stinky dandruffy school colleagues with bogers and and stuff :)
Worse was the older really skinny dancer the other night. It was interesting to see him and a her in that very stringy pasty condition, and all other cast members either of the perfect slim, lightly muscled or of the athletically muscled variety. This older guy was annoyed about comparisons to epilepsy, which I understood, but he kept saying he sees what he created - ie his moving body - as the most beautiful thing, and it just really didn't look it. Ignore babble, you'd need context, I know.
