YES! Sadly, most Americans have become crazily dependent on AC. I live in southern Oklahoma. Our temps have been nearing 100 every day for about a week now, with no break in sight. I'm sure we'll be facing triple-digit days before too much longer. And when you add the humidity into the heat index...ugh...no way am I facing summer without my trusty air conditioner.
