A minor break in transmission ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY [livejournal.com profile] alienor77310 ! I hope you're having a fantastic one!

And in other news, I'm going to be even worse at LJ than usual for the next little while. I am -- and you must say this in the sort of brave little voice that requires a flowy dress, chaise longue and four-minute aria -- unwell. Nothing lethal or disastrous, eminently treatable, just a bit painful and exhausting and will take a little while to get over. So I plan to actually sleep, which means cutting back on LJ time.

Madness, I know. I feel sure the plan will last three or four days at best.

In good news, as a result of the festival of scanning I've endured I can announce to the world that I have the liver and kidneys of a twentysomething. All those glasses of water over the years are feeling tremendously virtuous now! And the even better news is that once this is all sorted out, my general health should be terrific!

PS I may be even worse at replying to comments than usual for a while ... if that's possible.

Get well soon, Brammers. You'll be missed, but your health is more important.

Look after yourself and come back to us soon!

*clings*

I hope you're well soon! If you'd prefer that on a card, feel perfectly free to imagine it in fancy script with a strangely matched picture of a golden retriever puppy looking sort of tired.

While I pathetically lurk more than comment, I did nearly spit-take at the fainting couch and fluttery frock. *passes you lace handkerchief to complete the ensemble*

I never really know what to say very often, but I'm sorry for your need to convalesce. I genuinely do wish you a speedy recovery. Feel better soon :)

Poor you! I hope you're very much better soon, and yay for having such healthy liver and kidneys :) Now give a stern talking to the parts which are not behaving themselves and get well!

Best of British.

I expect to see you up and about sharpish.

Oh dear, do look after yourself! I hope the treating goes fast and smoothly, and that you're feeling better soon.

I am so sorry to hear that you are unwell! Please please let me know if I can do anything from here to help. Lots of love and please rest and DON'T REPLY to this comment as I know you love me. xoxoxoxoxox!

In my opinion the get well card you need is two very cute - preferably naked - guys kissing. Add the necessary adorable baby animals, pretty flowers etc. to the background if you wish. ;)

I hope you feel better soon. :)

If I manage to get to the hospital and they agree, I'll have a growth cut out of me, too, and I'll be thinking of you - though my liver is obese, I hear, despite the six litres of water I drank for a few years. All the best, sleep well.

Sleep, rest and get better soon. :)

Eek! Feel better soon, sweetie, and we'll be here whenever you're ready to come back.

I have laudanum, hartshorn, burnt feathers, smelling salts, and some thin gruel available for your benefit.

I can probably stretch to some tea and plain toast fingers, should you feel yourself rallying.

However, GET WELL SOON!

Seriously, bunny, this doesn't sound like 'unwell' - this sounds a bit scary, so do not go disappearing on us, because I really don't want to have to chase you down in Ersko (and I'd give Mr B a heart-attack).

♥ and smooches.

Get well soon, lovely! *snuggles you and sends you hot chicken soup*

I bet you look stunning in a flowy dress, perched on a chaise lounge. Get well and, for goodness' sake, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM CAMELLIAS!!!

[identity profile] quatrefoil.livejournal.com 2011-02-18 08:50 am (UTC)(link)
Oh dear. Sorry that you're not well. I wish you a swift but enjoyable recovery (sofa, trashy novels, cups of tea) and a thorough return to rude health.

[identity profile] enchanted-jae.livejournal.com 2011-02-18 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Stop being unwell soon!

[identity profile] leela-cat.livejournal.com 2011-02-18 08:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Feel better soon.

No reason to respond either. Just take care of yourself.
