Have snot ... and Pimms!

One thing I often tell people is not to break their foot. It's bad for you. You should also not break your nose. You should especially not break your nose to the point that you end up with a deviated septum, because if you get a cold, sometimes you end up with sinuses full of snot for days if not weeks on end and it is both disgusting and unpleasant.

Now that you are all either moving on to the next person on your flist or going 'EWWWW!', ROYAL WEDDING DAY IS HERE! This is grand news for three reasons. 1. We had an early mark to go home and watch. 2. Some genius brought Pimms into work and there is an unusual degree of sozzledness at this end. 3. Minor royals and their terrible fashions!

The ABC has started with its BBC coverage, and Huw the Unhappy. At least their Random People to Question are a bit more pertinent than the few minutes of Channel 9 coverage I saw. There's Kate's head master from school, bless him. 'She's nice, her family are nice, yay nice!' is the gist of his commentary.

I'm tremendously tempted to liveblog it as though it were Eurovision, but to be honest, I am here so that I can drink some hot choc out of my terrifically tacky commemorative mug and giggle at the hats. Ladies -- never wear a hat bigger than your shoulders to an indoor event. All else aside, it makes navigation and seating awkward.

Obviously two women can't sit next to each other. ;)

I will not be watching royal wedding, because I will be in Hogsmeade again buying my wand and visiting Hogwarts and in the afternoon there is a space shuttle that needs launching here. So busy!

Gabbie and Mark is the other gloriously romantic story of the day! I hope his journey is a splendid one.
