OOOH!

My eyelids are convinced it is bed time, but my brain insists it cannot be bed time until I type the following:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY [livejournal.com profile] groolover! Your icon never fails to bring a smile to my face, and has ever since I first noticed your cheerfully reccing ways long before we friended each other. (I swear that I will one day take your advice and read Reparations by [livejournal.com profile] saras_girl!)

And LJ has just eaten the rest of this post, dammit! OK, there was something about you being a fabbo person and so supportive to writers, and making fandom a better place (all very true!), and then a comment that I would totally cycle across the Pennines for you, though that is less impressive than it sounds because they are not that mountainous really and I am a rather good cyclist and hill climber. Definitely ended on a wish for this being a year in which all your hard work is rewarded and hopes that it sees all your plans come together beautifully. Have an excellent one, dear!

I know I went further to wish happy birthday to the beautifully sepia-toned [livejournal.com profile] salixbabylon, and hopes that the day brings as much joy in the form of cheer, love and scantily clad menfolk to salix as salix does to the world. Have a great one, darling!

And I definitely ended with hopes that [livejournal.com profile] nedtheimpaler and [livejournal.com profile] violetage were having wonderful birthdays, wherever they may be these days, too.

I'm going to leave out the fancy formatting, I think that's where LJ spits the dummy ... And now, sleepy bobos!

*hug* Thanks for the offer re the hat. But I just need to remember to buy another one next time I'm at Old Trafford (which should be next weekend). That's probably cheaper than sending the old one to Australia and back :p
