Oh my goodness, that thing is so adorable! Please help me figure out a way to transport them to the States immediately.

I also keep a flashlight within reaching distance of my bed, although I've never traveled with one. That's an excellent idea. For now I just use it on the very rare occasions I force myself to write down my dreams when I wake up in the dark.
