I remember, on one school camp, waking up to find a wallaby 2 metres from my head, quietly grazing in the pre-dawn half-light. It was an amazing experience! I can only imagine that finding a quoll near your head would've been delightful (especially when it turned out not to be a python).
Wombats are also tent raiders, only apparently they are not so adept as quolls at finding the door. A friend of mine reports that one barrelled through one side of the tent, and just kept walking. The other side of the tent turned out to be made of sterner stuff, and the wombat became a walking tent.
