the mainstream press has been very, very careful not to use the race blame game. but it was bound to slip out at some point. the lenders are going to say it's not their fault for tricking people (who, of course, happen to be folks of brown and tan hues.) and the righteous elite are going to once again see only what they want to see and point the fingers at the victims.
