Come back, Gatiss and Moffatt, almost all is forgiven …

'Proof? What would I need proof for? I'm in News, you moron. I don't have to prove it, I just have to print it.'

OK, so that capital letter might not be in the script …

Ahhh, hubris. Nice to see it in a villain.

Oh, my heart. I had a feeling what was going to happen, but Mr. Not A Criminal, I'm a Businessman just kept putting nail after nail in his coffin, daring the gods to knock him over. Do you remember Fawlty Towers when Mr O'Reilly kept trying to charm Sybil, and Basil finally whimpered, "Oh, don't smile!" ? That's how I felt watching Magnussen toying with John, calling him a moron, teasing him about the tee shirt, physically intimidating him. Every flick on his face was a nail in the coffin. Watching Sherlock watch John be played with was freaking scary. Amazing.
I'm not sure about his jump-the-sharkish parting line to Magnussen. At least it was set up with Mycroft earlier, and is kind of funny/sad/scary. At least he didn't say yippe-ki-yay or something, but really. At least Ben made it work.
Honestly, seeing John and Mary's domesticated sociopath working as their guard dog during the wedding, working for them, gave me very good wibbles. Watching Magnussen wind up the East Wind was a joy, knowing what Sherlock was capable of.

Are there new Sherlock episodes? Because that's what I seem to understand from reading the comments... If so, how did I miss that they were coming up? Where can I watch??? :D

That was a brilliant and very true idea.

Yes, that was lovely, wasn't it. :)

Yay! I had a lot of feels about this season of Sherlock, especially about how much Sherlock has changed since he's been away. I really do think he's learnt something, just in the way he interacts with the people he cares about.

He still has a ways to go but it's definitely noticeable.

I found Magnussen terrifying because of that attitude. That was indeed a brilliant line.
