Author types read this

Sorry for bad typing, on phone and on bus. But just getting to the end of The Breakout Novelist by Donald Maass and it's a big rec from me. The stuff on writing all good, but the stuff on agents and contracts and deciphering publisher speak is utterly brilliant. Available on ebook and worth every penny

He's an extremely well-known agent in the U.S. I know some authors who have done very well with him. And others who haven't. But his name is HUGE.

Thanks for the tip! Should I ever become foolish enough to want to become a writer, I'd get back to that one, just for starters. Sounds fun especially deciphering publisher speak. Piece of cake, no?

I have had this on my wishlist for a while but never committed! He is actually one of the agents I queried when I was querying, so maybe it's time to commit. Thanks!
