Why yes, I am still writing my hols fic ...

Writing for fests makes Brammers crazy.[Poll #1314580]

Many of us love your writing (and rather like you yourself a lot as well, of course) but I'm pretty sure you're allowed to not do the fests if they get too annoying...

Re. question 1, I will never say something can't work in a fic, because I know quite well that you can make any concept turn cartwheels if you so choose.

It's my own fault for thinking that the end of this year would be smooth sailing and full of creativity, when I knew it would actually be exhausted and full of mindless rushing about (to whit, still have not caught up with you!)

And while you are very kind, you must have missed the recent musical, because that was mad, even for me ;-)

OK -the musical was a bit mad, yes :). You may have missed a calling as a writer-of-filk there: I was meaning to reply and suggest that, but was too disturbed by the number of show tunes I actually recognised: it says something about my musical tastes that I'm not entirely sure I should own up to *g*.

Regarding catching up though... expect an email in the next couple of days about that. I'm not sure how the gossip loop is tracking at the moment, but in case you haven't heard, I'm upping sticks and moving north a state in a couple of weeks. I finally ditched the job-of-evil-deadlines!

WHAT? You and Anne both fleeing to Queensland? Life is not fair! (Though at least there are now reasons to visit the Sunshine State ...) HURRAH for lack of evil job, though. Are you off to something lovely and fulfilling?

It disturbed me how many I knew, though I have to confess the whole thing hinged on the goatherd gag. As soon as my brain helpfully supplied that, I knew where the next two hours were going.

'Fraid so... though if the number of times I've managed to see people this year is any indication, I'm likely to see people more often when I live a state away than I have managed when I am in the same city. This year has been mad in every sense of the word.

The goatherd was the highlight I must concur, but it was Three little babes that started me snickering. And I hummed Send in the Clowns for days. If you're ever beteen jobs for too long, I'm sure one of the universtity revue societies would be overjoyed to cut you a deal of some sort!

That takes me back twenty years ...

Do you know how few rhymes there are for sanctuary? ;-)
