B: Yes, it is, they had a sign in the window.
J: That's great! Though unusual to be open on Christmas.
B: Well, they are Jewish.
J: Are they? How do you know?
B: It's called Shenkin.
J: So? Your belief I know the geography of Tel Aviv, not based in reality my love.
B: It's run by Israelis.
J: But all the pastries are German.
B: So were loads of Israelis.
J: Oh, there is that ...

meanwhile I made sufganiyot last night--- nummy
if your Israeli cafe folks are making/selling them, you should get some. They're best fresh, but we've a couple left over and I'm gonna have one for breakfast... off I go to make some Jewish coffee;)
