I am sorry that I do not come with fic, or even bad stick figure art, but I do come with a load of love. Meeting you in Florence was one of the highpoints of last year, even if we all nauseated you beyond the capacity of even good pizza to repair. Your kindness, talent, humour, and willingness to grin at overpriced gelato in the night shadows of Il Duomo make you a great light in my thoughts.
I know that this is a year of great change and newness for you, but I hope that you will have time to fit in some work on the novel formerly known as the LGC. I do love it so! Hurrah for babies who will not be named Storm or Murgatroyd, and hurrah for you! Whenever I wonder what the hell I am doing spending time in fandom, friendships like the one I have found with you are more than enough answer. You brighten all of our lives with your thoughtfulness and gentle humour (which can also be rapier humour delivered in a gentle tone ;-)

It was worth more than the cost of traveling to Florence to meet you! I knew the minute I saw you that I'd found a lifelong friend and true kindred spirit. You're just a pure pleasure to be around, and so wise and insightful. And sorry you had to put up with me in grumpy sick mode! (Actually, I feel sorrier for those unwitting souls who had to fly with me, but that's a different story, lol).
