AHAHAHAHAHA!

Lovely [livejournal.com profile] inamac  did this online quiz, and since I am reading over one of my old fics in a bid to make sure that the new writing I am doing is not wholly OOC for my own OCs (sigh), I am in desperate need of procrastination!

Anyone who has ever met me in RL will know why I laughed myself silly when I received this response. Anyone who hasn't should know that the laughter was wholly unironic. Many of my earliest memories are of Women's Lib marches, and I spend my days reading from both sides of politics and keeping up with science and economics as much as I can, so it will not surprise you to learn that I am:

Your result for The Social Persona Test (What kind of man/woman are you?)...

The FemiNazi (NLAF)

Normal Liberal Alpha Female

Okay, let's face it. Some people wonder why you don't melt in the rain. However, alpha females are so rare that a little witchiness is worth it. You likely have strongly held convictions and care about society, politics, and the world at large, which only increases your attractiveness. Like the traditional types though, just keep in mind that you may not have all the answers. Despite a difference in interests, The Lord of the Misfits is best for you, as you would never be able to put up with the Frat Boy (NLAM).

You are more NORMAL than QUIRKY.

You are more LIBERAL than TRADITIONAL.

You are more DOMINANT than PASSIVE.

When picking a date, consider: The Lord of the Misfits (QLAM)

Though I'd like to think I'm more liberal...eh well

I know, right!? It was one of the first songs of theirs I heard and I loved it straight away. Though, it does have that horrible American grammar!fail of 'could care less', but I can forgive them in this instance. It fits in the song better. ;)

Ugh, I definitely wouldn't have got away with that in school! It's pretty ridiculous how some things are treated nowadays. :(

Cool! I haven't checked any in a while though, so some might be dead, but I can re-up if needed. :)

[identity profile] blamebrampton.livejournal.com 2009-05-16 08:46 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, after the horrors of having to defend Feminism through the 80s and early 90s, the nazi part of it just glides past like a fylfot or swastika in Asian or Eastern European iconography (both symbols have millennium-long traditions in art long before that gang of jackbooted thugs came along to rip apart Germany and Europe).

Apparently, for many men, especially commentators in the US, rights for women are just as scary as genocide. And they are sad, sad individuals who I pity.

But I shall take my riveter and be busy building something useful far away from them!

I think the quiz has odd ideas about quirky/normal and liberal/traditional. I think you are more liberal, and also believe that many liberal values are traditional values, including justice, freedom, respect, etc.

Hear hear!
Doesn't say much for this society that being liberal is demanding basic freedoms...huh.

Uh. Well, the best thing about this quiz was the intro sentence *g* I never know which of the equally inappropriate answers to tick and ended up as either Emo or Renaissance, both of which pair with Creepy Guy? Then I didn't feel up to changing that single answer a third time for a third possible option ;P

Don't ask

I did say I was a man, and ha! I scored hightest on "maleness" ;-)

Your result for The Social Persona Test (What kind of man/woman are you?)...

Lord of the Misfits (QLAM)

Quirky Liberal Alpha Male

You are similar to The Fratt Boy, in that you often try to take care of peers you percieve as less successful, but with the added benefit that you actually understand those on the fringes. You are a good ally to have, but people might be hurt if they believe your universal good will is a sign of a close friendship. You are nice to everyone, but you know who your true friends are. In terms of dating, you want someone who shares your interests; other than that, anything goes.

You are more QUIRKY than NORMAL.

You are more LIBERAL than TRADITIONAL.

You are more DOMINANT than PASSIVE.

When picking a date, consider: The Rarity (QTAF), The Renaissance Faire Wench (QLAF), The Librarian (QTBF), or The Emo Girl (QLBF)

*snicker* QLAF - but I wanted to be Rosie! I'll bet it was that damned Irish poetry that felled me. And I can't recall ever having been mistaken for a beta female ... ;)

---
The hardest part about being the Renn. Faire Wench is that people often mistake you for a beta female. This is not so. You might be quite flirtatious, but you are hardly relient on men. You like to do things the mainstream would consider weird, (like dress in costume, perhaps?). Eat, drink, and be merry, but make sure whoever you date respects you and does not take advantage of your laid-back attitude. (BTW, you are likely the only type who can see That Creepy Guy (NLBM) for who he is, helping him to bring out the Manga Geek (QLBM) inside. This does not mean you have to date one, however. You are quite flexible and can enjoy the company of many of the types.)

You are more QUIRKY than NORMAL.

You are more LIBERAL than TRADITIONAL.

When picking a date, consider: The Lord of the Misfits (QLAM), The Fratt Boy (NLAM), The Snowball's Chance in Hell (QTBM), The Manga Geek (QLBM), or That Creepy Guy (NLBM).

Seems I am The Rarity (QTAF), which - according to the quiz - means I don't exist. Between that an the pic of Xena it gave me, I'm really not sure what to do with this result ;)

Also, I wanted there to be a "because they need all the help they can get" option for the "God bless America" question...

Another QLAF reporting in! What are we comparing notes, on, btw? World domination?

Well, I am the The Renaissance Faire Wench (QLAF) Quirky Liberal Alpha Female

Seems about right I think. Hmmm but the quiz was pretty crappy.

Also: hey, [livejournal.com profile] blamebrampton! *waves* I haven't spoken to you in yonks, which is sad. Postcard on its way, though :)

I made librarian! This is hilarious since I spent a lot of time volunteering at libraries growing up and I'm planning to go back to school for a masters of library science degree! Currently, I teach high school English (hmmm... there shoudl be a question related to that with the result "insame masochist" ;)
