Sigh ...
I went freelance so that I could avoid working until all hours ... At least I am paid for every minute I am there and cabcharges are thrown at me with cheer.
In further proof that the news has become as easy to predict as most American mainstream film plots, I offer the following.
Brammers on Saturday: That was a terrible accident! I'm relieved Massa looks as though he will be all right. I give it less than 48 hours before people are calling for Michael Schumacher to take the vacant drive.
Mr Brammers: *Starts stopwatch*
36 hours later ...
Mr Brammers: You win.
Just watched the sports news on a commercial channel here.
Sportscaster: In astonishing news, voices are calling for Michael Schumacher to return to Ferrari after Massa's shocking accident.
Mr Brammers: That's not news. Stumpy on the sofa broke that three days ago.
Brammers: *Raises moderately stumpy arms in victory*

I agree with you about the Renault penalty, but this whole year has been like that. And while I know it is lame as a lame thing, I confess I am excited about Michael's return, if only for the inevitable leaping glee or tanties depending on the results ;-)
