It is 41.5 degrees C, which is over 100 in the old money. If you hear nothing further from me, it is because I have melted. I make note that it is not yet summer.
Everything still abysmally soggy down here, but quite warm too (yes, yes, warm for a Tasmanian spring). Fruit flies and mosquitoes breeding in unholy numbers, house rapidly becoming submerged in rampant greenery, that sort of thing.
Tassie warm is horrible: it's your UV that makes you feel every jot of it. I am sure that the verdant theme will be delightful at some point, but filled with mozzies and fruit flies, it sounds like Brisbane ...
