My box of books from London has arrived! Hurrah!

I have a cold. Boo!

It seems mild. Phew!

We are considering Pilates, is this wise?

She Stoops to Conquer is more amusing than I remembered. *Covets the fashions*

I'm a convert to Pilates. I'd look for a physiotherapy practice that offers studio classes. That way you get an assessment from a physiotherapist first, who will design your program to suit your needs (accounting for taxi smashed bits etc..). Also means you're supervised during the sessions to make sure you're doing the exercises correctly.

Pilates has done wonders for me, so I'd heartily recommend it.

It's a pilates-only practice, though I am not sure if it is run by a physio or not. Not a gym class run by someone who did a one-hour course, though ;-) And yes, long assessment first, which is encouraging, and then very small classes (2 or 3 people) which is, too. And a 15 minute walk across the tracks from our place -- easy!
