Advent-ures in Grrrr!

No sensible post tonight because I am in a crabby mood. In my next life, I will break fewer bones. No, I haven't mangled new ones, just annoyance from old ones.

In happier news, I had post today! The most wonderfully battered copy of Lucia Vitrix arrived, thank you [livejournal.com profile] treacle_tartlet ! And there was a candy bracelet for me and chocolate coins for Mr B thanks to Small Girl -- sharing her sweets is an act of generosity above and beyond!

I have a do tomorrow night that I want to go to for about a dozen people, but will have to put up with another one hundred who I am not as keen on. I might wait to see what the weather is like and whether or not I have turned to the hard drugs. Yup, I have a fridge full of dark chocolate and Pimms. Need some lemonade ...

Oh, hurrah! I would say that I hope the book arrived unscathed, but I'm not sure that particular copy could get any more thoroughly scathed and still maintain its strucutral integrity. I do hope you can find the time to read it - I love it even more than I love macarons, the Gay Pirates song, and Bradley James's perky little bottom, and that's saying something!

Hoorah! Someone else who likes Pimms - its my summer drink of choice.... I mix it with lemonade and dry ginger, not just lemonade though. And the slice of cucumber skin is an absolute must - its not the same without:)

Hopefully Yule will be a lovely time with the people you WANT to see and you can ignore the twonks. Please pass my congrats to T.
