Mr B has been in mild disgrace for spending far too much time on internet spaceships and far too little on everything else.

A short while ago, he appeared in the living room with a smile. 'I am being thoughtful and loving,' he declared.

He pulled his hands out from behind his back. In one, a giant chocolate frog. In the other, Kevin McCloud DVDs. He really does love me!

Happy birthday! it is also nice to have the husband remembering your birthday without having to remind them.....it is the little things darn it!

PS/ a couple of nights ago my husband hide a big bag of peanut M&M under my pillow as a gift. After I found them he said that it had been very nice of him to do so because he was a nice husband :)

Nothing says love like confectionery!

And I do always have to remind him of the date, but at least he knows roughly when it is and has enough nous to say 'Er, 27, 28, 29 or 30?'
