Mr B has been in mild disgrace for spending far too much time on internet spaceships and far too little on everything else.

A short while ago, he appeared in the living room with a smile. 'I am being thoughtful and loving,' he declared.

He pulled his hands out from behind his back. In one, a giant chocolate frog. In the other, Kevin McCloud DVDs. He really does love me!

HEE! Your husband is EXCELLENT! And Mr B is also very worth keeping, even if he does have attacks of OCD about taking over the galaxy. I think that their announcements are because they are harking back to the days of knightly chivalry when they would have had a herald to precede them -- 'My Lords and Ladies, I give you Sir Purl and his Tale of Great Deeds for His Lady!'
