Hurrah!!! I haven't had the aircon on all day, it's brilliant. I hope it lasts until next weekend, the multicultural festival is on here and it is a lot of fun, but not so much when the weather is above 30.

Still bloody hot up here. :/

I just had a shower because the sweat was all slimey and horrible, literally dripping off me. I feel so much better now. I'll probably get shot for saying this, but I wish it would fucking rain, instead of just threatening to!!

Good for you! :) We quite like southerly change here as well.

Sleep well.

It feels so weird. I actually had a granny blanket over my legs while I was on the computer last night 8* Tonights a bit warmer in Perth, though. Just perfect. I remember what it was like up in far north Queensland; we were camping and everything, absolutely every-fucking-thing was damp for weeks. And smelly. Not nice.

YAY! I totally don't miss summer weather. l'll take -20 any day over sweltering heat.

A friend in Yangon told me that in really hot weather, she turns on the fan and puts a block of ice in a big bowl in front of it, so that the fan will blow the cool air around the room. Of course, this only works if there is electricity, which there often isn't, in the hot season, or if one has one's own generator, which many middle-class people have.
