A point of clarification

Oh fandom crazies ... how you make me shake my head ...

There is at least one person who reads this journal who sincerely believes I am anti-American.

I'm not anti-American, I'm anti-stupid American. Smart Americans are some of my favourite things in the world. Normal Americans are completely delightful and fill me with hope that generosity still lives in this modern era. But the stupid ones drive me mental, because in the face of every opportunity, they choose small-mindedness.

And it's not racist: I'm anti-stupid everyone. Which is not the same as being anti-thick. God knows I am thick when it comes to playing tennis, chemistry and about 50% of biology; I can't help it. We're born with our sundry thickitudes, but people choose to be stupid.

So, if you are a stupid American, then yes, I am probably anti-you. But it has nothing to do with the accent.

travel fair prompts!

I have some! And the close-eyed reader of the following will spot that I have no imagination and should plan these things ahead rather than listing four in the dying hours of the open period and exhibiting all the imaginative scope of a whelk ;-)

For anyone who ends up wondering, a pademelon is a small wallaby-like animal, often very fat. They will steal your sandwiches if you have a picnic at Wineglass Bay. Here's one I found on the internet:

And do take a read through the longlist over there: it's FANTASTIC, full of genius ideas. Which I am resisting. Watch me!
Four ridiculous prompts awaiting! )
