Holding pattern ...

Am sitting in Adelaide David Jones food hall drugged out of my mind but with a stable wireless connection which my hotel would not allow. Ask me about my headache! I will say URRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH, at you, and also that Urgh is probably the first word I have not had to fix a typo in so far. Including typo.

The plane had issues, I am underslept even for me, and I have two Britpicks that I wanted to send back tonight. Girls, I will send them tomorrow. Please send your mods here where I take full responsibility. Tonight I would probably insist that you add in a gotten or indeed a golem somewhere, I am so out of my skull.

On asprin.

Fucking lightweight.

I owe many comments, which will also happen tomorrow. Staggering back upstairs now. At least I have chocolate, so if I throw up later it will taste good! (ish)

I'd never thought of that description before... I'm not a beta reader, I'm a copy editor! (I hate commenting on style...) Of course, I'm a halfway decent continuity editor, too...

Whatever you want to call yourself, you're all super stars in my book. [livejournal.com profile] secretsolitaire is hands down one of the best betas I've worked with. ;) The girl can spot a typo, missing punctuation, or comma splice from a mile away in the dark. Additionally, she's great for picking out problems in continuity, particularly in smut.

SS: In this scene, you have Draco removing Harry's shirt.
Me: Yes?
SS: He did that two pages ago.
Me: Um..that was his other shirt.

I *heart* my betas.
