Cryptic post is cryptic!

Not long ago, but probably while I was still in Italy, someone who I know I quite like but think I know from the internet rather than the physical world, emailed me suggesting I join a particular comm to work on a particular project, which had something to do with HP and may have involved being able to spell.

Possibly.

It may also have been an invitation to a weaving workshop or a weekend's work observing waterfowl.

Anyway, the salient point is: now that some semblance of sanity has returned, I have been hunting high and low for said email, and am buggered if I can find it. So if you are currently saying 'THAT'S why the bitch never replied to me!', why yes! it is! And could you please send it again because I seem to recall I thought whatever it was was a very good idea.

SORTED! Thanks Mel!

Next mystery: why does LJ keep things from me? It's like one of my exes ...

Oh goodness yes! If only we could prescribe happy pills for everyone when needed; that or chocolate!

I'm in good shape, as I have one and a half very large Cadbury bars in my refrigerator!

By the way, I loved the Australian Dairy Milk. It seemed a little milkier and sweeter than the British version.

Feeling better, I take it?

I can BREATHE AGAIN! And yes, certainly milkier, it reminds me a little of the Dairy Milk of my youth, as today's version is a pale imitation thereof. The Kiwi version is even nicer, I'll send you some when I am there in Feb!

Yay! Looking forward to testing the Cadbury's of the world. Unfortunately the US version would probably come in dead last.

Unless there happens to be a Russian version...

[identity profile] wenchilada.livejournal.com 2008-12-05 10:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Have you had the Chinese version?

[identity profile] norton-gale.livejournal.com 2008-12-05 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
There's a Chinese version? What's it like?

[identity profile] wenchilada.livejournal.com 2008-12-05 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Only to be used in a state of emergency.

REALLY? Now I am afraid! Also, YOU! Where are you? How can I be in the same place as you at the same time? I have gifts! Hugs! Gossip! Photos! I can come to you, we have transport and there are trains. Big hugs!

[identity profile] wenchilada.livejournal.com 2008-12-08 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Why, hello!
Yes, really! I haven't figured out if it is imported from somewhere else, but it's nowhere near as good as ours.

Persmonster & I are joining Mr C in Sydney on Friday. We'll be there for a couple of weeks. Weekends are packed, but during the day, we are ladies of leisure (and staying at Darling Harbour). Let's catch up!

[identity profile] blamebrampton.livejournal.com 2008-12-08 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
I'll have at the very least one day when I can snaffle you during that period! Hurrah!

Sweet!
