Ah, George Dobby Bush ...

It was bizarre. For one brief second, when he ducked out of the way of those shoes and had nothing on his face other than the simple, triumphant grin of 'Ha! you missed me!', the man was almost likeable.

But then he had to go on and add 'I don't know what the guy's cause was ...'

You know, I think I just might have an inkling.

Yeah, I actually had to smile right then too. I suppose dodging items thrown by the audience is a basic skill all politicians learn early. And, as my husband just pointed out, dodging a shoe is much easier than dodging most questions, and since he is very good at dodging the questions, he should be a past master at dodging mere shoes.

Dobby... If it were that simple, someone would have handed/thrown him socks or shoes long ago, and we'd have been well and truly rid of him.

We should have known! The ears! the mangled speech!

If my graphic designer didn't mention this to me hours earlier, I would've wondered, what the heck is Brammers talking about. Luckily, he did. So I understood your subject title and I howled in laughter with my scary phlegm-y voice and scared at least 10 customers just outside my office.

*sigh* One of these days, I will have to stay home and not work so I don't miss these momentous occasions on television. Then again, with 24-hour news channels, I suppose I can always catch up later. (Is it worth watching TV for, though?)

There are news clips in places like youtube. I don't watch TV either, and IRC and my friendslist links me to the crucial stuff.

He really is hopelessly stupid, isn't he? I'm embarrassed to consider what that means for our population, considering we elected him twice (well, once, but we won't discuss the 2000 debacle).

I was laughing hard, till he started talking.
Then I was tempted to throw a shoe, I wouldn't miss either.
And it'd be stiletto end up.

XDD Dodging shoes must be a valuable skill for him

I lawled so hard I scared the cat. And I see your point -- I was actually impressed with his reflexes, hehe.

The (now) shoeless Iraqi reporter is my newest hero. Last I read he was in custody and there's this huge demand in Iraq for his release. I hope he's released soon and that he isn't harmed.

George may be getting older, but he's quick. Ha ha ha!
