The two neighbourhood cats have not been abandoned! Their owners were on holiday and thought the cats would be fine.

So they are still arses ...

Yup. I suppose they had some basic idea that the local mice would keep them going, and the actual mad cat lady down the road, along with the grumpy garden women and J the Cat Man would all keep them alive if things started to look grim.

And, obviously, they were quite right.

I gave them my very best Princess Royal look of disdain and disapproval.
