Secondly, we're looking at ways of managing the tag team fic and crack drabbles. All of them boil down to moderated or un-moderated. Does anyone have any firm and unyielding opinions on the joys or evils of moderation?
Finally, the con itself runs Thursday to Monday. Do we want to go that long, or stop on Sunday?
Once we've finished working out what we're doing, we'll advertise the comm and anyone can come to play!

but if that's too sporadic, no problem. I'm happy to just pimp and participate. ;)

Just let me know what's needed, and hopefully I'll have a clue how to do it.

Do we need a fixed end date really? Is there going to be a sort of grand reveal type thing? If not, I'd have thought that we could just hold the thing nominally in place of Az but if it dribbled into the following week, no biggie?
Do you need an icon - what would you like?

The current theory is daily mod postings with topics for drabbles, discussion points for the film and at this rate general HP discussion points (which we will probably be calling for in the next couple of hours).
The need for regular mods will only occur with the tag-team, so that we can just give entries a quick read-through. Since we will be aiming for two-hour turn arounds on that, it will need a bit of a mod presence across the weekend to handle it.
As to an end point ... good question. It would be kind of nice to see if we could work the big fic towards a closing point so the mods could all ignore the comm after that, but then what if it is truly epic? The drabbles and discussion can probably keep going until we all run out of steam!

I don't have any event-organizing experience, but I'm a fast learner. :)

Jae and I are having a look at timetabling moddage, but we will pop you on the reserve team if we're sorted so far. Thanks so much!

I'd volunteer, but I tend to crash out around midnight EST every weeknight now. Playing still? Oh yes!

And, well, I'd loved this to end Sunday night because Monday morning I will be in the hospital already. Of course, it will be nice to read all of what happened on Monday once I get back home :-)-

I can help out in the UK time zone on Thursday and Friday evenings, most of Saturday (morning to evening), probably most of Sunday (morning till probably early afternoon), and Monday evening.
Actually Friday evening has a small "?" over it. I'll be at a work do for the afternoon, and I don't know how late it'll go, but shouldn't be very late.
Let me know.

Are there going to be slots for the tag team fic? Like, I could sign up for Friday at 6, or something?
