A point of clarification

Oh fandom crazies ... how you make me shake my head ...

There is at least one person who reads this journal who sincerely believes I am anti-American.

I'm not anti-American, I'm anti-stupid American. Smart Americans are some of my favourite things in the world. Normal Americans are completely delightful and fill me with hope that generosity still lives in this modern era. But the stupid ones drive me mental, because in the face of every opportunity, they choose small-mindedness.

And it's not racist: I'm anti-stupid everyone. Which is not the same as being anti-thick. God knows I am thick when it comes to playing tennis, chemistry and about 50% of biology; I can't help it. We're born with our sundry thickitudes, but people choose to be stupid.

So, if you are a stupid American, then yes, I am probably anti-you. But it has nothing to do with the accent.

*sighs* Oh well. A few of my friends seem to think I'm Sekritly Christian, because I tell them off for saying religion is a mental illness. (!!!) Can't please 'em all!

DOWN WITH STUPIDITY!

*Headdesk!*

I'm a lifelong atheist and I can still see the beauty and comfort religion brings to the people who believe in it.

DOWN INDEED!
