I loved the Chaser lads trying to give Steve Fielding an award for recognising the two parties should do a preference swap, as 'you need to have sex before you have a family!'
As to Abbott -- if had shown an iota of sense or sanity in his time as a Minister, I would give him the benefit of the doubt. But he's a rampant ideologue unsaddled by knowledge of half the party's platform, and unconcerned that the other half is recycled from 1996. I suppose at least they're recycling SOMETHING ...
