I don't see so much the gloating... I see the boggling! Even the TV presenters have a kind of dazed, OMG expression. It's fabulous. I kind of enjoy it when they have to say the words "our first medal in gymnastics for eighty billion years!" It makes me feel proud for our many years of failures, lmao.
