Woke up a bit late this morning, staggered into the bathroom feeling quite horrible. It was 8am. At 8.30am I had managed to wee, wash my hands and brush my teeth in the correct order and without mishaps, but that was all and I  had a fairly clear idea that  anything more complicated than that would probably be beyond me. I called into work and went back to bed. And woke up at 5pm. The cats were sitting on J's pillow quietly looking at me, with mildly worried expressions ("If she never wakes up, who will feed us when the man is playing internet spaceships?")

Since then, I have had two naps.

This whole sickness thing is not funny. I think I have not had enough sunlight this winter and need more Vitamin D in my diet. Though I eat loads of eggs and vegies. Still, some sunning tomorrow, and a giant garlic sandwich.

I have friends coming to stay tomorrow night, I will warn them and let them decide whether or not they wish to risk the plague.

Actually, have a spot more [personal profile] leochi celebration, go and check out her Snape tarot card here. It's beautiful!

Booo. I'm sorry you are still so sick. You need a SAD lamp - you know, they have full spectrum light that simulates sunshine? I have two - the old fasioned kind and the new fancy LED kind. Hmmm, do they even sell artificial sunshine machines in Australia?

I hope that your napping helps. You should train your cats to bring you kleenex and juise and things. Maybe J could tie mini-kegs of juice around their necks so when they are monitoring your aliveness, you could get a drink?

But B, I live in Australia, there's LOADS of sunshine, I just miss out on it too often ...

I want to slap people who go to work and to classes with flu, though. Every day I can't work costs me about $300 because I am only paid when I am there. Those bastards go in because they don't want to use up their sick leave. I hates them.

The cats would work out how to turn the taps then run around making puddles to play in. They are weird.

Oh, I second that HATE. I think it should be unlawful for people to use public transport, work or venture into public places when actively ill. *waves wand*

The number of rancidly diseased people who have sat next to me, or opposite me, on the tram in recent days is frightening.

*smites them all*
