treacle_tartlet sent me
one of these! It's a Moomin gingerbread house kit, and you can see a
completed version of the house here, though the kit comes with cutters for Moonintroll, Moominmama and Moominpapa, and Lilla My rather than figurines. The instructions on the back come in Swedish and Finnish, which is interesting for translation purposes -- I now have the Finnish for egg firmly in my head as well as the chorus of the little piggies song!
Anyway, treacle has once again proved SHE KNOWS ME TOO WELL! Also, people popping in over the cooler months will now be subjected to barbecue and moomin gingerbread, instead of the usual plates of macarons. You have been warned!

Coincidentally enough, I'm off to London to see shocolate and our friends, and I've brought out my moomin bag.

I also have a set of Muumi ginger bread cutters like these, actually I have two sets, since several people thought it was the perfect gift. And how right they are.

It's a great gift! The instructions are in English as well I hope, if not I'll have to translate them for you. (From Swedish that is, not Finnish.)
